Mrs. Nuchjaree Pakdeecharoen, Executive Vice President - Retail Banking Group; Mr. Chakri Boonyakiat, Executive Vice President - Corporate Strategy Group; Ms. Vipada Rittirote, Executive Vice President - Administration and Human Resource Group and Mr. Suwit Thanrungreung, Senior Vice President - Compliance and Rules Department of the Islamic Bank of Thailand (ibank), visited the Embassy of Qatar in Thailand to sign the book of condolences following the passing of His Highness the Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Prior to this, the Bank’s Director and President, accompanied by the executive team, met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Thailand. The purpose of the meeting was to extend an official invitation to the Ambassador, as well as to the delegates attending the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings (October 12–18, 2026), to participate in a side event on Islamic finance hosted by the Bank during that period.
